With all the depressing news about the recession, it’s becoming more difficult to justify expensive outings and the likes. But rest assured all you frugal fashionistas, we’ve got just the event for you! Crystal Couture is a free event that is open to the public and features some of the DC area’s top fashions. Each day brings a new theme with a contest. What more can a girl ask for?! Different designers are featured each day along with a runway show, hairstyles, makeup, spa services, clothing exchange, drinks and snacks.

So round up all your {budget}fab* friends and head on down to Crystal Couture at 2450 Crystal Drive. The event is daily through February 28th. Weeknights the event runs from 6-10pm. Saturdays feature a morning event from 11am-3pm as well as an evening event from 6-10pm. Sundays the event is from 11am-3pm.
