This weekend it’s time to get your jam on!  Or watch others get their groove on.  This year’s Dance Bethesda event begins today and includes free dance lessons and parties at various downtown Bethesda dance studios, hip-hop master classes and a dance concert featuring six of the regions top companies showcasing various genres.

The 2008 Metro DC Dance Awards honored Dance Bethesda for Best Overall Production - Small Venue for the 2008 Dance Concert at Round House Theatre - so this should be a well put together event. 

Here are some details on the Dance Bethesda festivities…

FREE Dance Lessons - oh so {budget}fab*!!

When: Tonight; 8pm to 10:30pm

Classes include hip-hop, jazz, salsa, foxtrot, waltz, tango, modern, belly dancing and cha-cha.  Click here to learn more about participating dance studios.

Dance Bethesda Dance Concert; $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12

When: Saturday, March 7th; 8pm

Where: Round House Theatre

Tickets for the concert event can be purchased online or at the door beginning at 7pm on Saturday.  Featured performers represent some of the areas top dance studios.  See a full list of who will be performing here.
