I got a flyer for a play being presented at the Bowie Community Theatre and tonight is opening night! So if you’re looking for a {budget}fab* date option or just a fun night out with friends, be sure to read on.Inspecting Carol is a play written by Daniel Sullivan that follows a theater company with various eccentric characters who have been informed that their annual endowment grant is in question and an inspector must come to the theater to determine their fate. A case of mistaken identity turns a young aspiring actor of questionable talent into the star of their own interpretation of “A Christmas Carol.” The actors’ egos and a riotous version of a classic favorite provides for nonstop laugher.
The play runs from March 20 - April 4 with Friday and Saturday shows at 8:00pm and Sunday shows at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors/students. So dust off that college ID and head on down to Bowie for a {budget}fab* entertainment option.
