happy hour for dogs

I didn’t know about this until after visiting DC This Week, but Doggie Happy Hour is going on in Alexandria, VA.

Hotel Monaco Alexandria and adjacent restaurant, Jackson 20, host Doggie Happy Hour Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm in their courtyard area.  The weekly event began earlier this month and will go until Thursday, October 30th.  They serve complimentary gourmet doggie snacks with plenty of fresh water bowls to all of our canine friends (we like free!). Owners can try regional American cuisine from the restaurant and enjoy special cocktails.
