As many of you may know, the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival is underway, which means there’s lots to do.  Well, this is a reminder that this Saturday is one of the main events - the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.

Here’s the info…

What: Enjoy floats, balloons and performance by bands from around the globe. The National Cherry Blossom Festival All-Star Tap Dance Team and Choir and Cherry Blossom queens from the United States and Japan will be participating in the parade. Clowns, horses and antique cars too - oh my! 

“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek will serve as the grand marshal. “American Idol” contestant Kimberly Locke, disco singer Thelma Houston, tween idol Joey Page and Miss American Katie Stam will also be on hand.  AND there will be numbers from the Broadway productions “Chicago” and “Mama Mia.”

Where: Constitution Avenue between Seventh and 17th streets NW

When: Saturday, April 4th, 10am to noon

Why:It’s Washington, DC’s largest annual spectator event.  Go and be a part of it all!
