take me out to the ball game

It’s baseball season!  For our DC area readers - yesterday was the home team’s opening day.  They lost by one home run… ANYWAYS…

Whether you’re a baseball fanatic or not, attending a game is tons of fun.  And the best part is, no matter your budget, baseball stadiums typically have a ticket in your price point.  At DC Nationals’ stadium, tickets range from $10 - $320.  At yankees stadium, you can sit in the bleachers for just $14!  True… the less expensive your ticket, the further away you are.  But who cares!  So much of the professional sporting event experience is just being there and the energy…  Not being able to sit behind home plate doesn’t mean your not going to have a good time.

So, if you’re in a place with a baseball team nearby, consider gathering some guys and/or gals and head out to a game.  Buy yourself some peanuts and cracker jacks and have a grand old time! 

Oh yeah - and if you want to show a little team spirit, but you’re not looking to spend a ton - check you a nearby Walmart or Target.  Both budget-friendly retailers often carry sports paraphernalia of local teams.
