i love public transit!

Bus or metro, you name it,  I’m on it.   Not only are these modes of transportation cheaper than driving to and fro , but they are also environmentally friendly.  Can we say “go green?”

If you live in a large city with a well developed public transit system you are very lucky.  You can forego buying a new car and simply buy a cheaper, used car to drive on the weekend.  If you want to go to another extreme you can opt to not purchase a car at all and simply utilize the public transit system. The money you save in car payments, maintenance, gas and insurance can be placed into a lucrative savings account, CD, or invested in stocks.
