My mission, to buy some new pieces for an upcoming family weekend event with a budget of $100.  With quite a bit to buy and a limited amount of cash, I headed straight for the closest outlet mall.  And I must say… mission accomplished!

I went for pieces that I loved that would also work well with other things in my wardrobe. I snagged…

  1. Black and white silk tank from Forever 21, $19.80
  2. Black shorts from Banana Republic Outlet, $12.99
  3. Graphic tee from Forever 21, $16.90
  4. Earring set from Forever 21, $3.80
  5. Silver flats from Gap Outlet, $16.99
  6. Tee-shirt dress from Express, $11.99
  7. Skinny belt from Forever 21, $10.80

The grand total with taxes: $97.09 - YAHOO!

How I plan to wear it all…

  • Friday (travel day) = #3 + comfy pair of jeans I already own + #5 + hoops from #4
  • Saturday (casual cookout) = #6 + #7 + pair of sandals I already own + pearl studs from #4
  • Sunday (the big family event) = #1 + #2 + #5 + rhinestone studs from #4

    Ohhh these looks are great for a fun, relaxing weekend! I wanna take the $100 challenge too, but alas, my roommate has banned me from the mall for at least 2 weeks! EEK!
