The last big event the bride will experience as a single woman can be a very big deal. Whether you’re in charge of the planning or someone’s just looking for your input, there can be a lot of pressure to give the bride-to-be the best night of her life. Now, a night full of debauchery is one way to go - lots of cocktails, perhaps a stripper, everyday objects in the shape of a certain part of the male anatomy… Check out sites like Bachelorette.com for fun party paraphernalia.
If you’re planning a bachelorette party for a bride that may not appreciate the super wild and crazy, how about a Sleepover themed party? It’s a great way to help the bride relax, enjoy time with her girlfriends and celebrate her upcoming nuptials. And, for the party planner, a sleepover is definitely a {budget}fab* idea…
1) Send an Evite. It’s FREE and it’s an easy way to keep track of guest count. Be sure to ask guests to show up in their most comfy PJs.
2) When you think of sleepover food, you think pizza. But, instead of ordering pizza, try making your own with party guests. Having all the ladies in the kitchen, preparing food and swapping memories with the bride-to-be will be a blast. To take the kitchen escapades to the next level, be sure to have a bottle of wine flowing. Click here for a great at-home pizza recipe.
3) Movies, movies, movies… Rent some of the bride’s favorites. Or, to keep things really {budget}fab*, check with friends before the party to find out if anyone owns the movies you need and ask them to bring them to the party. Don’t forget the popcorn!
4) What’s a sleepover without games? How about truth or dare? Or “never have I ever…”? For a game specifically about the folks about to wed, organize some bride and groom trivia. Click here for details.
