Good news for all you foodies in the DMV!  If you found yourself too busy to take part in DC Restaurant Week , if the place you were dying the dine at was booked or if you simply forgot altogether there is hope!  A number of DC restaurants have decided to extend their Restaurant Week prices!

We posted on DC’s Summer Restaurant Week earlier this week, as well as Todd Kliman’s of the Washingtonian best picks. Brace yourself…several of those top picks are participating in the extension. Yahoo!

Todd broke out his top choices for Restaurant Week into three tiers, Tier 1 are the places you should fight to get into, Tier 2 being a great choice, and Tier 3 places serving as very good safety options. So without further ado, let’s break out the options:

Tier 1 Extensions
Vidalia through September 5th
Rasika through September 5th

Tier 2 Extensions
Dino (dinner) through September 13th
Kinkead’s (lunch) through September 4th
Willow through September 5th

Tier 3 Extensions
Nage through September 6th
Café Atlantico through September 6th

And there are several other fabulous options including CoCo Sala and Zaytinya. For a full listing of the extensions, check out Best Bites on Washingtonian.

Now I have time to try Art and Soul and for a great price!!! What are your DC Restaurant Week faves?

I went to CoCo Sala for restaurant week. I liked it a lot. I went previously and trust me going during Restaurant Week is waaaay cheaper.
