These businesses give us a chance to leverage the power of group discounts and pinch pennies when it comes to doing some of our favorite things - like eating at certain restaurants, getting spa treatments, etc. Get things for yourself or gift your great deal to friends and family (just be sure to check the expiration date). BuyWithMe - This site was founded in Boston and serves Boston, DC, New York, Philly, Chicago, Phoenix, LA, San Diego, Miami and San Francisco with a deal a day.

LivingSocial - This group buying site serves the DC area with a daily deal.
