A fab* twitterer saw yesterday’s Free Things To Do in Miami and asked if we could do something similar for Orlando. Well, of course we can! Here’s a list of free things to do in Orlando, FL…
- Visit Lake Eola located in downtown Orlando with 43 acres of space to explore, jogging trails, playgrounds nd fountains.
- Check out the Morse Museum of American Art between 4pm and 8pm on a Friday.
- Be sure to stop by the Zora Neale Hurston Museum of Fine Arts. The museum’s mission is to “provide a place “in the heart of the community” where the public can view the work of artists of African descent.”
- Pack a lunch and head over to Big Tree Park. Once you’re done with your grub, be sure to check out “The Senator” - a 3,500 year old tree measuring 118 feet tall.
- Take a trip to Old Town and enjoy free admissions, free parking and live bands on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
- Take a free tour of the Orlando Brewing Company. Tours are Mon. thru Sat. at 6pm.
- Take a stroll on Disney’s Boardwalk. There’s plenty to see with street musicians, magicians and performers for free.
- Check out the gardens are the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculptural Gardens.
