wedding fab*: bridesmaid dresses

A friend and I had the opportunity to plan a wedding back in September of 2009 and I want to share lots of pics from the bride’s big day with you all this week (all images we post this week were photographed by Erin Marie Photography). So here goes…

Now, while I didn’t help the bride select the bridemaids dresses, I will say the dresses were a HUGE part of what made the day fun, vibrant and made photos look great!  The wedding colors were mango and azalea (light orange and a deep pink…), so she went with Jim Hjelm Occasion gowns in a gorgeous mango/azalea satin faced taffeta.  The colors of the gowns were the inspiration for all the other wedding elements.  Seriously, we carried that fabric swatch everywhere… floral appointment, tux rental shop, meeting to select linens… everywhere!
