review: elasta qp hair products
Posted on 03. Aug, 2010 by dara.
A while back, we received some great hair products to review but wanted to make sure we tested them out thoroughly before posting on them. Thanks to our fabulous group of friends, we were able to test these products on natural hair, weave, and relaxed hair of all different types. Many of us have seen the Elasta QP brand before, and perhaps have even tried it out. With so many products on the market it can be difficult to decide which products to invest in, well we’ve done the research and we’re happy to present our top choices. Check out our favorite products below!
Elasta QP Curl Wax - This product works great on weave as well as your natural hair. My curls last all day without having to put hard spritz or gel on them and they are oh sooo soft! Not only that but the wax smells really good and it helps to protect my hair from heat damage. You only need a little wax to do the job and it doesn’t weigh your hair down like traditional conditioners and petroleum based products.
Elasta QP DPR - 11+ (Deep Penetrating Re-moisturizing Conditioner) - I’ve been natural for 6 years now and it’s been trial and error with finding a deep conditioner that WORKS! I absolutely love this product for my hair. I wash my hair at least once week and I also make sure to use the deep conditioner each time. I’ve actually followed the directions on the container and left the conditioner in my hair for at least 15 -25 minutes. The deep conditioner makes my hair feel so soft and manageable. The olive oil and organic ingredients in this product are incredible! I would definitely recommend this product to friends! This product works so well that I’ve already purchased another container.
Elasta QP Soy Oyl Conditioner - I have relaxed hair that’s soft and fine, so I try to use products that won’t weigh my hair down. After washing and towel drying my hair, I applied this conditioner and instantly the texture of my hair changed! I’m normally unable to finger through my hair when it’s wet but with this conditioner, I was able to do so. The conditioner has a texture similar to mayonnaise and left my hair feeling soft and moisturized. I normally allow the conditioner to sit for as long as possible under a shower cap, then rinse and style as usual.
